So happy that I get to rant and rave about the new Godzilla movie during the
May 20th Movie Addict Headquarters show. Is this film a hit or a
miss? How does it compare with previous Godzilla offerings? What are the
most exciting elements of Godzilla 2014? What could have been done
better? Why is Godzilla so popular? Tune in and find out!
Called
King of the Monsters, Godzilla (Gojira) has been stomping around the screen for
60 years. Appearing first as a metaphor for nuclear weapons in Ishiro Honda’s 1954 Japanese film, this massive
creature has become a pop culture icon with 28 films about him produced by the
Toho Company. In 1998, Tri-Star released another Godzilla movie to mixed
reviews, but Godzilla 2014 – presented by Warner Bros. and Legendary
Pictures -- is receiving mostly rave reviews.
“Godzilla
and Me” airs live on BlogTalkRadio at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m.
Pacific Time) on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. During the live show, listeners are
invited to call in and to participate in a chat. An archived segment will also
be available.

Thanks, hastomo ardi, for reading my blog entry about Godzilla and commenting on it. I agree with you that the original film was shocking and very good for that time!
