Is It a Bird? Is It a Plane? No, it’s another movie about Superman. Man of Steel, scheduled to land June 14 on the big screen, stars chiseled British actor Henry Cavill in the dual role of Superman and reporter Clark Kent. Amy Adams appears as Lois Lane; Russell Crowe is Jor-El; and Superman’s adoptive earth parents are portrayed by Kevin Costner and Diane Lane. What a great cast! Director Zack Snyder promises to explore Superman’s emotional frailties -- such as loneliness and doubt -- in this latest outing. But we all know you can’t keep a good superhero down. In fact, this one was introduced in DC Comics publication of Action Comics #1 way back in 1938, which means he turns 75 this year. Way to go, Superman!

Hi Betty Jo,
What did you think of the film? I have yet to see it, but I am hoping that is more than just another Superman movie. I am a bit burnt out, but with such a great cast I think there is definitely potential!
