While reminiscing about Debbie Reynolds and Carleton Carpenter in the movie musical “Three Little Words," host Don Grady and I sang an impromptu version of “Abba Dabba Honeymoon” on Louisiana Live yesterday.
“We just set radio back 30 years,” Don said.
After listening to the archived program on
http://www.louisianalive.net/, I have to agree with him.

memory is tricky, and we all have been trapped by its flaws...Now, my memory tells me that Carleton Carpenter and Debbie Reynolds did not sing in the movie "Three Little Words". Her voice was dubbed and he was silent, merely reacting to her miming.
They sang Abba Dabba Honeymoon together in another film, "Two Weeks with Love" , and it was released by MGM on a sountrack recording.
