Judy Reyes Revisited

In a taped interview for Movie Addict Headquarters, award-winning actress Judy Reyes talks about her starring role in Gun Hill Road, a film to be released on DVD March 5th. During this episode scheduled for February 26th, Judy also discusses her exciting acting career, which has included roles in such movies and television shows as Bringing Out the Dead, It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas, Washington Heights, Without Men, Castle, The Sopranos, Law & Order and Oz. She’s even worked with Miss Piggy!

Although many viewers think of Judy -- who earned two Alma Awards for her amusing work as feisty nurse Carla in TV's "Scrubs" --  primarily as a comedic actress, she displays her ability to do drama with a fearless performance in Gun Hill Road. She's totally convincing as a longsuffering wife and mother struggling with family estrangement, transgender issues and environmental pressures.

Listen to this fascinating Judy Reyes interview on BlogTalkRadio at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, February 26th by clicking on the link below.

Look for the Silver Linings

If you haven't seen Silver Linings Playbook yet, please try to catch this wonderful film on the big screen before it goes to DVD. My husband and I have already watched it twice -- and loved the movie even more the second time. The relationship that develops between characters played to perfection by Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most entertaining ones ever filmed. Two equally flawed individuals -- one bi-polar the other a wanna-be dance competitor -- fall for each other and  become better persons as a result of their interactions, despite all the obstacles facing them. Watching Silver Linings Playbook is a great way to start out Valentine's Day month.
