New Healing Techniques

Scott Musgrave’s book Reflexercise contains information that naturally heals chronic conditions through new techniques that allow you to train your brain to be LESS reactive to stress, anxiety, chronic pain, depression, trauma and PTSD right from home. One of my dear friends suffered from twisting of her neck and a bulging muscle that kept her head twisted with major pain in the neck and back muscles for several years. After the treatment (a few months of the exercise) described in Reflexercise, she is now free from this painful condition. And, to me, that’s an important testimonial! Of course, there are many others who have also found relief through this approach. For more information about Musgrave and his helpful book, go to

Barry Bostwick on Movie Addict HQ

Award-winning actor Barry Bostwick visits Movie Addict Headquarters on September 25 for a discussion about starring in FDR: American Badass. In this slapstick comedy, Bostwick portrays the 32nd U.S. President as a werewolf killer who rides around in a “wheelchair of death” while stopping werewolves carrying the polio virus (!). Bostwick may be best-known as the clueless mayor on Spin City or as Susan Sarandon’s naïve boyfriend in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. However, he’s a triple-threat entertainer -- singer, dancer, actor -- who created the role of Danny Zuko in Grease on Broadway, won a Tony for his work in The Robber Bridegroom and a Golden Globe for his performance in War and Remembrance. Listen to Barry's interview next Tuesday by clicking on the link below.

A Must-Read about 9/11

Diana Saenger and Sandy Scoville deserve our thanks for Glory: A Nation’s Spirit Defeats the Attack on America. Within hours of the 9/11 attack, they began to compile the stories of people who experienced this tragedy first hand. And with help -- plus hard work -- from many dedicated individuals, their book was edited and published in seven weeks. The result? A tribute to all of the victims and their families. Glory, a must-read about 9/11, is available at

From Eye Candy to Serious Actress

Leaving behind any trace of her former eye-candy image, Jessica Biel delivers the performance of her career in The Tall Man. Pay attention, filmmakers, this gal can act! And she picked a gem of a thriller to showcase her acting chops -- one with a foreboding atmosphere, lots of suspense, and intriguing plot twists that keep us guessing about what’s happening to the children of a small mining town in the depths of economic ruin. Although I’ve usually enjoyed watching Biel in such movies as The Illusionist, Next and Easy Virtue, she hasn’t been on my acting A-list -- but The Tall Man definitely earns her a place there now!
