Watch Your Back, Woody Allen!

If you like Grandma Mazur in Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, you'll probably love Hot Chocolate. The characters are all quirky and funny in this hilarious mystery about murder and chocolate. Reading Dawn Greenfield Ireland’s novel is like watching a Woody Allen movie -- even the minor characters are eccentric and wonderful. The Best Medicine

If laughter is the best medicine, then Heal Thyself offers effective treatment for what ails us. This short film gem, written and directed by Jeremy Dylan Lanni, still has me chuckling every time I think of Dr. Cash (Eric Roberts) and his passion for using everything in his power to make “cash cows” out of his bewildered patients. Roberts delivers an energetic, joyful and totally annoying performance that had me in stitches from beginning to end. My only complaint? Heal Thyself should be a feature instead of a short. I want to see more of Dr. Cash and his funny – but disturbing – cohorts. For more information, click on the link below.
